CoralKeep (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is an offline-first reef aquarium journal for iPhone. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Depending on how you use CoralKeep, the app may store locally on your device:

You can delete all app data at any time from the keeper menu using Clear All Data. This removes local records and media created by the app on that device.

In-app purchases

CoralKeep offers optional consumable Tide Credits through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and handled by Apple. We receive purchase confirmation from Apple to credit coins in the app. Tide Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed outside CoralKeep.

App Tracking Transparency

On supported iOS versions, the app may ask whether you allow tracking across other companies’ apps and websites. If you decline, CoralKeep continues to work. We do not sell your personal information.

We do not sell your reef journal data. Information may leave your device only when you:

Children’s privacy

CoralKeep is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

Data is stored in the app’s sandbox on your device. Please use a device passcode and keep iOS updated to help protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
